The world’s most evil blogger is sending one lucky person to Las Vegas this February to attend Affiliate Summit West 2008, where he will be a keynote speaker along with Zac Johnson and Amit Mehta in a session called Super Affiliate Strategies that Work.
Affiliate Summit West 2008 looks like it’s pretty much going to be the ultimate affiliate marketing industry event of the year. The lineup as you can see here already includes all the major movers and shakers in the affiliate marketing industry.
As we mentioned in this previous post, networking is an extremely important aspect of any business - more especially so for online businesses. Due to the isolated nature of blogging or running marketing campaigns from home, opportunities to interact with other people in the online industry are few and far between so uber opportunities like this are not to be missed.
Attending an event like this will help me keep abreast of the LATEST industry issues, challenges, successful vs. unsuccessful strategies etc. More importantly, it will help establish new friendships and business relationships with the absolute best minds and business people in the affiliate marketing industry. That in turn will mean greater content for you - dear reader. As you may already know, traffic is queen but content is king.
But I think the greatest part of winning this contest would be the opportunity to hang out with John and learn some of his evil techniques - hopefully he won’t try to use jedi mind tricks like he did on this fellow here and make me forget any evil strategies that he may decide to teach me.
John obviously knows how to have a really great time and I look forward to meeting one of the most successful affiliate marketers online (Entrepreneur Magazine agrees) at some point in the near future. Plus any regular reader of his blog knows John Chow throws the BEST parties - and I’m sure Affiliate Summit West 2008 won’t be any different.
